Criticism is natural in life; one must learn to face it. Today’s youth often cannot tolerate even small criticisms, getting mentally stressed and losing self-confidence. To grow in life, one must overcome criticism and move forward.

When criticism arises, one should get used to viewing them with a positive attitude. One should identify what they were criticized for and try to improve. Criticism should be viewed merely as criticism; they should not be tied to emotions, as they do not determine your ability or talent.

If someone criticizes badly, instead of reacting immediately, one should calm the mind by meditating for a while or counting numbers. One should accept constructive criticism from well-wishers and use it for development. Unnecessary or personal criticisms made with the intent to cause distress should be completely ignored.

If criticisms are frequent, it is advisable to contact the critic and seek clarity. If there is a flaw in you, it can be corrected, or if the critic misunderstood, an explanation can be given. Finally, when you are doing your work properly, criticism should be turned into a tool that drives you forward, and should not be taken to heart causing mental distress.
